After a narrative account of Boston United’s achievements in the competition, the book includes results, scorers and line-ups for all their FA Cup games. The unusual title: "Lay on them backs, Boston" refers to advice shouted out by a Boston fan at a game in the 1950s to encourage Boston's wingers to attack.
